KIPP DC: AIM Academy is a part of the nationally acclaimed KIPP network of schools. KIPP stands for Knowledge is Power Program. There are more than thirty schools nationwide, serving students in under-resourced areas throughout the United States. These schools have become the highest performing middle schools in their cities. AIM Academy is replicating and building on the success of its partner school, KIPP DC: KEY Academy, also located in Washington, DC.
KEY Academy has had remarkable results on its standardized test scores. As demonstrated by the graph below, KEY Academy students have surpassed all DCPS charter and public schools on the Stanford-9 test.

KEY Academy's eighth grade students have earned over $400,000 in scholoarships to top high schools. These students have been accepted to the following schools:
