Casey Fullerton

Casey Fullerton is KEY Academy’s 6th grade reading teacher. She joined our team at the beginning of the 2004 – 2005 school year and was honored with the Board of Director’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Before joining KEY Academy’s team and family, Ms. Fullerton taught 3rd and 4th graders at Simon Elementary School here in Washington, D.C. In 2002, she served as a Teach for America Summer Institute teacher in New York, NY. In 1999, Ms. Fullerton joined the AIDS RIDE from Boston to New York where she raised $3,300.00 for the fight against AIDS. Ms. Fullerton earned a B.A. in human development with a minor in communications from Boston College and earned a M.Ed. from American University.
