Nick Kuttner is a Partner and Vice President with Booz Allen Hamilton’s Worldwide Technology Business. He has over 20 years of professional IT consulting experience working across a wide spectrum of U.S. Federal agencies, as well as with commercial and multinational governmental organizations. Mr. Kuttner joined Booz Allen Hamilton in 1986 as a Senior Consultant in the Firm’s telecommunications practice. Subsequently, he developed the Firm’s core capabilities in network engineering, network operations management, telecommunications, and customer contact management. Currently, as a Vice President of the Firm’s Systems & Communications Team, he shares oversight responsibility for 1500 professional IT consulting staff generating more than $200M annually.
Mr. Kuttner’s experience encompasses IT strategy, investment/portfolio management, operations management, and implementation of a wide range of large scale IT infrastructure programs. He has supported the development of the Department of Treasury’s enterprise-wide telecommunications systems, HHS’ nationwide 1-800-Medicare network, the Pentagon’s backbone data network and telecommunications systems, and new facilities for the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Justice, and the U.S. Secret Service. He has also helped to implement new light rail, commuter rail, and communications services on behalf of transit agencies in Washington D.C., St. Louis, Toronto, Orlando, and other major metropolitan areas.
Mr. Kuttner holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and is a member of the IEEE communications and computer societies and the IAC Telecommunications Shared Interest Group.
