Building Hope is a nonprofit organization created by Sallie Mae Fund to provide D.C. charter schools with loan guarantees, low-interest loans, grants for technical assistance and help in such areas as site selection and lease and purchase negotiations. Building Hope partners with experienced and successful charter school administrators to identify locations for charter school expansion to serve the Washington D.C. community.
