KIPP DC is a cluster of 4 schools and a headquarters office serving students in the District of Columbia. In July 2009, we will be opening three new schools: Discover Academy early childhood school, Promise Academy elementary school and KIPP DC: College Preparatory high school. Our model is to start our schools with only one grade and add a grade each year. Because of this, not all of our schools are fully grown and might only have one or two grade levels.
KIPP DC: KEY Academy middle school, grades 5-8
KIPP DC: AIM Academy middle school, grades 5-8
KIPP DC: WILL Academy middle school, grades 5-7 (will serve grades 5-8 during the 2009-2010 School Year)
KIPP DC: LEAP Academy early childhood school, grades Pre-K4 and Kindergarten (will serve grades Pre-K3 through K during the 2009-2010 School Year)
KIPP DC: Discover Academy early childhood school, opening in July 2009 with a Pre-K4 class
KIPP DC: Promise Academy elementary school, opening in July 2009 with a 1st grade class
KIPP DC: College Preparatory high school, opening in July 2009 with a 9th grade class
