Our Schools

KIPP DC is a cluster of 8 schools and a headquarters office serving students in the District of Columbia. In July 2010, we will be opening one new school: Grow Academy early childhood school. Our model is to start our schools with only one grade and add a grade each year. Because of this, not all of our schools are fully grown and might only have one or two grade levels.

  • KIPP DC: KEY Academy middle school, Grades 5-8
  • KIPP DC: AIM Academy middle school, Grades 5-8
  • KIPP DC: WILL Academy middle school, Grades 5-8
  • KIPP DC: LEAP Academy early childhood school, Pre-school, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten
  • KIPP DC: Discover Academy early childhood school, Pre-Kindergarten (will be Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten in 2010-2011)
  • KIPP DC: Promise Academy elementary school, Grade 1 (will be grades 1 and 2 in 2010-2011)
  • KIPP DC: College Preparatory high school, Grade 9 (will be grades 9 and 10 in 2010-2011)
