KIPP DC: KEY Academy was the host and one of three Washington DC public charter schools chosen to participate in an international press event in conjunction with the United States State Department.
The February 15th forum highlighted the unique characteristics of each school’s programming for the global audience, which included press from perennial educational powerhouses, Germany and Japan. KIPP DC Executive Director, Susan Schaeffler, spoke on behalf of KIPP DC.
