KEY Academy
Now in its 8th year, KIPP DC: KEY Academy (Knowledge Empowers You) is at full capacity, serving 320 fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth graders in Southeast Washington, D.C. Students take an innovative and academically rigorous college preparatory program. The school's mission is to prepare students with the academic, intellectual, and character skills necessary for success in high school, college, and the competitive world beyond.

AIM Academy
The mission of KIPP DC: AIM Academy is to instill our students with the academic skills and character necessary to succeed in high school, college, and the world beyond. AIM Academy believes that all students can learn and that there are no shortcuts to success in life. AIM Academy serves 320 students.
We feel a sense of urgency over the future of our students. Therefore, AIM Academy believes in holding students to high expectations and accepting no excuses.

LEAP Academy
Opened in July 2007, KIPP DC: LEAP Academy is KIPP DC's first early childhood school. LEAP Academy currently serves 196 pre-kindergarten (age 4) and kindergarten students, and will ultimately offer pre-kindergarten (age 3) through kindergarten. Founding principal, Laura Bowen, is committed to offering a developmentally appropriate college preparatory education for Washington D.C.'s youngest students.

WILL Academy
Opened in July 2006, KIPP DC: WILL Academy is KIPP D.C.’s newest middle school campus. The school serves 248 fifth, sixth and seventh graders in the 2008-2009 school year and will expand one grade level annually until it ultimately serves 320 students in grades 5 through 8. KIPP DC: WILL Academy was founded by Jessica Cunningham. Ms. Cunningham taught 6th grade math and 7th grade English at KEY Academy and was a D.C. Teaching Fellow, prior to being selected for KIPP school leadership.
