Every day I walk into this building I am challenged personally and professionally, by my administrators, colleagues, students, and parents. Together we have created an environment where students not only want, but also love to learn. They feel safe, respected, and challenged. At the same time, I have been given the opportunity to develop my own curriculum and implement it in my classroom the way I feel will be most effective for my students. Each day I have the opportunity to teach five of my original third graders. It is amazing how far they have come, since they entered this building. I cannot think of anywhere else I would want them to be.
