KIPP DC: WILL Academy

KIPP DC: WILL Academy is KIPP DC’s newest middle school campus, having opened in July 2006. The school will be serving over 240 fifth, sixth, and seventh graders in the 2008-2009 school year and will expand one grade level annually until it ultimately serves 320 students in grades 5 through 8. KIPP DC: WILL Academy was founded by Jessica Cunningham. Ms. Cunningham taught 6th grade math and 7th grade English at KEY Academy and was a D.C. Teaching Fellow, prior to being selected for KIPP school leadership.
