The Youth Orchestra of America (YOA) is a world-class symphony orchestra of gifted young musicians, ages 18 to 30, representing 25 countries in the Western Hemisphere.
High school students from KIPP DC College Preparatory, middle school students from KIPP DC KEY Academy, and elementary students from KIPP DC Promise Academy all had the privilege of working with YOA Global Leaders and musicians from Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, and Canada over a two-week period. This partnership culminated in a multicultural concert and musical journey across the Americas.
