In April we proudly announced that our very own KIPP DC Heights Academy teacher Blair Mishleau was selected as a 2016 Lead PBS Digital Innovator.
Mr. Mishleau will proudly represent Washington D.C. as a Lead PBS Digital Innovator and receive free professional development from PBS for an entire year. In addition, he will be honored as a DC 2016 American Graduate Champion alongside General Colin Powell at the 2016 #AmGrad reception event on September 13th.
The local PBS affiliate based out of Howard University, WHUT, visited Mr. Mishleau classroom and filmed he his Heights Academy students for a segment of American Graduate.
Be sure to catch the nationwide broadcast on Sunday, September 18 on PBS to see the great work of Mr. Mishleau and those committed to educating and supporting students.
