Academics
For 7 consecutive years, KCP has been proud to be named a Tier 1 school by the DC Public Charter School Board. We offer classes and course offerings in English, social science, math, foreign languages, and physical education & health. Students can also choose to take music, art, and technology electives.
Student Life
Experience all that comes with attending a KIPP DC high school. Students celebrate annual traditions like Homecoming week, college & career signing day, senior brunch, prom, Black History month showcases, musicals, and so much more.
Athletics
Tryout for one of our many sports teams or cheer on the KCP Panthers at a sports game! KIPP DC College Preparatory Panthers compete against other DC area schools in the DCSAA Class A league. Teams include Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Track & Field, and Volleyball.
Extracurricular
Extracurriculars at KIPP DC high schools are student-driven to promote leadership and passions. Current extracurriculars include: Black Panther Organization, Chemistry Club, Chess Club, E-Sports, Gardening Club, Girls Inc. Leadership Program, Graphic Design Club, Mock Court, National Honor Society, New Creations Dance Ensemble, Quiz Bowl (It’s Academic) Team, Social Justice Club, Student Government Association, Theater 708, Virtual Enterprise, Weightlifting Club, Woods Project.

At KIPP DC College Preparatory our goal is for 100% of students to graduate from high school prepared to enroll in and complete college.
The NAF Academy of Finance & NAF Academy of IT prepares our high school students for careers in the finance industry through a rigors career-themed curriculum, and work-based learning experiences.
Students engage in a diverse curriculum of English, math, history, and science classes. Students also engage foreign languages, electives, and physical education courses.
Teachers partner with students and families to ensure students holistic needs are met.
KIPP Forward program supports KIPP DC alumni through college graduation.
