Say hello to this phenomenal KIPP DC College Preparatory student, Samiyah Green! This young lady is an 18 year old entrepreneur and a force to be reckoned with. Starting at a young age, Samiyah always knew that she wanted to have her own business but was not quite sure exactly what she wanted to pursue in business. During the pandemic, she found a deep interest in doing nails. Her family invested in her as she began to practice day and night to perfect her craft. She then traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to further study her craft through taking nail courses and when she returned home, she began taking clients. Currently, she runs her own nail business (nailzbyxmona) located in Northeast D.C. She would like to say a special thank you to her family and friends who have supported her every step of the way.
